Lien Resolution Desk

Castellan Injury Law

The settlement is funded. The client still cannot be paid.

Six settled files, fourteen liens, and the statutes that decide what each one may take. The agent reads every charge against the medical record and the reference schedule, computes the ceiling and the statutory reductions in code, and drafts the letter. It keeps what has been asked for apart from what a holder has agreed in writing, because only the second one changes what the client receives.

Measured here: loading the recorded run, covering the line by line audit, the statutory computations, the accounting and the first draft of the letter. It does not telephone anybody, and it does not decide.

What this shows

The problem
A funded settlement cannot reach the client until every lien against it is audited, measured against the statute and answered in writing.
The result
Per file: what each holder asserts, what a rule keeps out, what the statute caps it at, what is agreed, what the client receives today, and the letter asking for the rest.
The limit
Every file, provider, plan and statute here is invented, and so is the jurisdiction. Nothing is sent, filed or telephoned, and none of it is legal advice.
Not covered
No intake, no case management system, no provider portal, no payment. Real lien rules vary by state and by plan, and they are not in this page.
A pilot
One desk, a sample of closed files with their outcomes, your own reduction rules, and a specialist who reviews every draft before it goes out.
